The Challenge
The structural integrity of the property at Beechbank, NR2 was compromised due to cracks and deteriorating mortar. The client approached us with a structural engineer's report highlighting the need for immediate attention to prevent further damage.
What We Did
Our team, led by Dan, executed comprehensive structural repairs. We installed two lintels across the windows and performed crack stitching at the first, fifth, and ninth courses, ensuring stability. Wall ties were added in barring zones to fortify the structure. We also repointed the copings on the outer walkway and chimneys using sand and cement mortar, with scaffolding access above the balcony entrance for safety and precision.
The Result
