Concrete Repairs and Brick Repointing in NR1: A Successful Project

The Challenge

We received an enquiry from Harriet regarding necessary repairs to a residential area. The task involved addressing concrete cracks and repointing brick steps to ensure safety and durability for the elderly residents.

What We Did

Our team, led by Dan, undertook comprehensive concrete repairs. We removed and relaid a 1.6m by 1.2m section of concrete, addressed cracks on the right side, and relaid a slab at the back. Additionally, we prepared the sub base and concrete for a 5m by 1m area. Safety was paramount, so we taped off the area to protect the elderly residents. All remaining cracks on the path were meticulously chopped out and re-cemented. Finally, we completed a brick repointing of the steps on both sides.
